Because Care to Change was founded on genuine lived disability experience, our leadership and staff understand the daily realities of the NDIS and disability supports. We don’t just assign support workers to timesheets. We match personalities, spoken languages, and shared interests so you feel comfortable, safe, and respected in your own home. From our business leadership team to our frontline support workers, we share one goal: improving care for everyone.

Service Manager

This local expertise means we have established networks with local allied health professionals, community hubs, and transport routes. Whether you need assistance with daily living, complex care coordination, or engaging in local community events, our team is right here in Mount Gravatt and Morayfield, ready to provide hands-on, responsive support when you need it most. We believe that exceptional care requires a personal touch, and that starts with a team that knows your community as well as you do.

Frequently asked questions

Care to Change was founded in 2016 and runs as a profit-for-purpose provider. The business leadership team is Lewis Purdon, Managing Director; Emma Earle, Head of Organisational Development; and Toni Thorne, Head of Quality and Compliance. Behind them, a care management team of service managers, area coordinators, HR and finance staff keeps supports running day to day. Their photos and backgrounds are all on this page.

Each bio on this page lists that person’s qualifications and experience, so you can see exactly who you would be dealing with. Across the team it is a mix of formal qualifications and years of hands-on work in the disability sector. Care to Change itself is an NDIS-registered provider, and our frontline support workers are trained and screened members of our own team.

Our care management team. A service manager oversees how supports run in your area, area coordinators look after rosters and the practical details, and your support workers deliver the support itself. If your NDIS plan includes support coordination, one of our support coordinators can also help you plan and connect your services. The service managers and area coordinators on this page are the people behind that day-to-day support.

They are our own team. Care to Change employs, trains and screens its support workers directly. We do not fill shifts through labour-hire or gig platforms. That is what lets us match you with workers who suit your personality and language, and keep the same familiar faces coming back rather than sending someone new every week.
